On March 6, 2025, Martin Community College (MCC) celebrated the induction of students into the Kappa Eta Chapter of Alpha Beta Gamma and the Kappa Chi Gamma Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Societies.
MCC hosted the induction ceremony for these two esteemed honor societies on the Williamston campus in the Auditorium. The event, which commenced at 6:00 pm, marked a significant milestone in the academic journeys of its outstanding students.
A total of twenty-seven (27) students were honored during the ceremony. These exceptional students have demonstrated exemplary commitment to scholarship, leadership, and service, embodying the core values of both honor societies.
Kappa Eta Chapter of Alpha Beta Gamma inductees were Cherry Baxter, Jalin Bell, and Heather Robinson.
Kappa Chi Gamma Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa inductees were Zoey Barnes, Kailyn Bayliss, Samuel Bennett, William Burgess, Lindsey Cliser, Alexia Dickerson, Sophie Foy, Kadence Haltigan, Hannah Hardison, Christopher Harper, Shaniya Hunter, Valerie Jacobson, Samantha Jernigan, Barbara Lawrence, Maverick Meekins, Mikayla Outlaw, Madison Overton, Connor Phelps, Jeremiah Rascoe, Whitney Stevens, Yahir Trinidad, Ivanna Vazquez-Rojas, Rebecca Warren, and Riley Wynne.
