Public-safety programs at Martin Community College provide training to current and aspiring public-safety professionals in the areas of Law Enforcement, Fire and Rescue, and Emergency Medical Services (EMS).
All public-safety units of Martin Community College are state-accredited programs. For example, the MCC Basic Law-Enforcement Training (BLET) program prepares students for entry-level employment as law-enforcement officers with state, county, or municipal governments, or with private enterprise. In addition, the MCC Fire & Rescue Training program offers an industry-recognized selection of fire and rescue training courses for today's emergency responders. Finally, the MCC Emergency Medical Services (EMS) program offers rigorous, comprehensive training to those wishing to deliver emergency medical care to those critically ill and critically injured.
