MCC's College and Career Readiness Program Receives Outstanding Audit

March 27, 2025

Martin Community College's College and Career Readiness (CCR) Program recently received an outstanding audit during their compliance monitoring visit from the NC Community College System. The audit reports that MCC's CCR Program has an "outstanding performance accountability team" and that the program "demonstrated exemplary instructional practices."

Angela Mobley, MCC's Director of College and Career Readiness, emphasizes that a successful audit goes beyond compliance and that it serves as a "testament to the dedication, teamwork, and excellence of our incredible CCR department." Mrs. Mobley extends her gratitude to the entire CCR team, stating, "Their hard work, attention to detail, and commitment to quality made this achievement possible. I am beyond grateful for this team and their daily efforts."

The CCR Program at MCC is a free resource to help adults refresh or learn new skills necessary for employment and self-sufficiency. CCR offers Adult High School Equivalency (HSE) testing preparation to those wanting to earn their HSE diploma. The program also offers digital literacy, refresher/remediation services, and basic life skills for those who wish to strengthen their abilities in certain areas. Services are free and assistance with testing fees is available. The CCR Program offers both in-person and online instruction. In-person classes are offered on MCC's Martin and Bertie campuses as well as the Robersonville Senior Center.

Martin Community College would like to congratulate the entire CCR Department on this well-deserved achievement. If you are interested in our CCR Program, contact us at (252) 792-1521.
